Every Hatchable account can now publish one app to the open web on the free plan. No card required.
Apps you build have always been live at a real URL, but on the free plan they were personal: you and the people you invited could open them, and everyone else hit a sign-in screen. Taking an app fully public was a paid feature. As of today, your first public app is free.
What public means: anyone with the link can use the app. No account, no sign-in. Personal is still the default, and you flip it per project on the project’s Overview page in the console.
About the badge: public apps show a small Built on Hatchable pill in the corner of the page. That badge is how a free public app pays its own way: some visitors click it, and some of those people build something of their own. On the Builder plan the same Overview page has a toggle to remove it.
If one isn’t enough: Builder ($12/month) publishes as many apps as you want, removes the badge, and adds custom domains, so your app can live at your own address instead of a hatchable.site URL.
