Every project on every plan gets its own private database. There is no shared data access between projects or accounts, ever.

An App plan is a capacity block. When your app takes off, you stack another block: $39 more, and every number in its bucket gets another full share. Two blocks is twice the capacity, ten is ten times.
And an App plan is never paused for using what you paid for. If a launch spike blows past the bucket, your app keeps serving while we email you. Past ten blocks, we move you onto dedicated infrastructure.

Questions
Do I need a card to start?
No. Free needs no card, and there is no trial that expires. Projects left completely untouched for six months may be reclaimed after email notice, per our terms, so anything you care about stays yours just by using it.
Can I use the Free plan for commercial work?
Yes. Free projects are private (you and your collaborators), which suits internal tools, client work in progress, and prototypes. Publishing to the open web is what Builder adds.
Why is Builder $12 when other AI builders charge $25?
Because we do not sell AI credits. Other platforms bundle the cost of their AI into the subscription and meter your messages or tokens. On Hatchable, your own AI writes the code with the subscription you already pay for, and we charge for running what it builds. Flat, with no meter to watch.
What happens if I hit a limit?
Nothing sudden. We email you at 80% and again at 100% of any monthly allotment. Free projects pause at the limit until the month resets or you upgrade. Builder keeps serving well past the limit before anything pauses. App plans never pause for capacity: you get the email, and if the growth is real you add a block.
What exactly is a capacity block?
The App plan's unit of scale. One block is the base bucket: 2 million function calls, 25 hours of database time, 100 GB of bandwidth, 30,000 emails a month. Each additional block is $39 and adds another full share of everything, so two blocks is twice the base capacity. Stack up to ten from the app's settings page, no call required.
Is my data isolated from other customers?
Yes, on every plan. Each project has its own private database; no project or account can read another's data. App plans additionally run on database capacity reserved for business apps.
What happens if I downgrade?
You keep what you paid for. Cancel Builder and it stays active until the end of your billing period; your public sites keep running until then, and you can resume with one click. Nothing is deleted either way; projects just return to private.
