Claude Design is very good at turning an idea into a real website. What it hands you at the end is a zip file. Here is how to turn that zip into a site people can actually visit, in about a minute, and what it can become once it is there.
Claude Design exports a complete website: an index.html, a stylesheet, some scripts, a folder of images. It is real, finished work. It is also sitting in your downloads folder, which is not the internet.
Publishing a Claude Design export, step by step
- Design your site in Claude Design. Describe what you want, refine it on the canvas until it looks right.
- Export it as a zip. Choose the HTML export. You will get a .zip in your downloads folder.
- Open the Hatchable deploy page. Create a free account if you do not have one.
- Drop the zip in and import. Nothing to configure. We recognise a website, put the files where the server expects them, skip the build leftovers, and name the project from your page title.
- Open your live URL. The site is on the web at its own address. It starts private, so it is yours alone until you decide to make it public from the project's Overview page.
That is the whole process. No build step, no config file, no deploy pipeline to learn.
Why put it on Hatchable instead of a static host
A folder of HTML will sit happily on any static host. The reason to bring a Claude Design export here is what it can become afterward.
