Hatchable went generally available on June 4. Here’s what shipped in the four weeks since, minus the routine fixes.
The Database page is a real data browser now
The console’s Database page got rebuilt from the ground up. Browse every table in your project, sort by any column, edit values inline, add rows, delete rows. Checking what your app actually stored no longer means asking your agent to run a query for you.
Invite people to your projects
Send an invite by email or hand someone a single-use link and they’re in. It works the other direction too: if someone finds your project, they can request access, you get an email and a banner in the console, and one click approves them (they’re notified automatically). Building with a teammate stops being a workaround.
Email on a domain you own
Every app could already send email. Now you can connect your own domain, send from it, and receive mail to it, with support for bringing your own DKIM keys if you want sending fully white-labeled. The free tier includes a monthly email allowance, so you don’t need a paid plan to try it. One nice extra: calendar invites your app sends show up as real RSVP cards in Gmail and Outlook, not as mystery .ics attachments.
Your app is visible before its first deploy
New projects used to be a blank page until the first deploy finished. Now the project URL serves a live preview of the current draft, so you can watch the thing take shape while your agent is still working. Agents also get a clear nudge when a project has files written but nothing deployed yet.
A guided first run
New accounts get a step-by-step path: Connect → Test → Build → Live. Pick your tool (Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, Codex, and friends), and the console confirms each step as your agent completes it, so you always know whether the connection is working and what to do next.
Agent connections got smoother
- Cursor and other native MCP clients connect and stay connected. We fixed the reconnect storms and now answer the protocol pings these clients expect.
- OAuth discovery means more MCP clients can find and authorize Hatchable with zero manual configuration.
- Binary uploads: agents can push images, fonts, and other assets through a chunked upload path instead of fighting base64 limits.
New in the marketplace
The Apps directory picked up categories, plus new working apps to fork, including Earshot (a research vault with semantic search) and Google Ads MCP (give your agent real tools for your ads account).
