Standard License

1. Grant

The creator listed on the app's marketplace page (the "Creator") grants you (the "Licensee") a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use, modify, and run the app's source code and accompanying assets (the "Software") for your own purposes, including for the operation of your own business or organization, subject to the conditions below.

2. Permitted Use

You may:

• Run one or more instances of the Software on the Hatchable platform or on infrastructure you control.
• Modify the Software to suit your needs — change features, branding, copy, or any other aspect.
• Use the Software to operate your own business or service, including services you provide to your customers.
• Allow your employees, contractors, and collaborators to use the Software in the course of their work for you.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

• Redistribute the Software, in original or modified form, to any third party as a standalone work.
• Resell the Software or sublicense it under terms that grant resale rights.
• Relist the Software, in original or modified form, on the Hatchable marketplace or any competing marketplace.
• Include the Software, in original or modified form, as a component or template within a product you distribute to others where the Software's value is a primary part of what you are distributing. Brief excerpts, code snippets, or pattern-derived implementations not substantially derived from the Software are not restricted.
• Remove or obscure copyright notices, attribution, or license terms present in the Software's source files.

4. Modifications

Modifications you make are yours. You retain ownership of original work you author on top of the Software. The Software itself, however, remains subject to this license — including the restrictions in Section 3 — regardless of how much you modify it. Modifying does not transform the Software into a new work that you may redistribute.

5. Number of Instances

This license is per Hatchable account. Multiple deployments of the Software within one Hatchable account, or its successor accounts, are covered. If you operate multiple accounts (e.g., one per client), you need a separate license for each. If this is impractical for your business model, contact the Creator to discuss an Extended or custom license.

6. Transfer

This license is non-transferable. You may not assign, sell, or otherwise transfer your rights under this license to another party. A change of legal control over the licensed account (acquisition, merger, etc.) is not considered a transfer for the purposes of this clause.

7. No Warranty

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The Creator and Hatchable disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In no event shall the Creator, Hatchable, or any contributor be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from, out of, or in connection with the Software or its use.

8. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you breach Section 3. On termination, you must remove all copies of the Software from your accounts and infrastructure. The license is otherwise perpetual; delisting of the app from the marketplace by the Creator or by Hatchable does not revoke your existing rights to copies of the Software you already obtained, provided you continue to comply with this license.

9. Refunds

Refund policy is set out separately in the Hatchable Terms of Service and at the discretion of Hatchable acting as the merchant of record.

10. Relationship to Hatchable's Terms

This license governs your rights with respect to the Software's content. Your use of the Hatchable platform itself — to host, deploy, or serve the Software — remains subject to the Hatchable Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
