Bushel farmers market website template — full design preview
Kraft paper, tomato red, and a slab-serif headline you could staple to a telephone pole. Built for a weekly market: a dated this-week card, a 48-vendor roster in six categories, a plain-steps SNAP match section, a month-by-month season strip, and a vendor application that is one email long. For market managers, food co-ops, and any nonprofit that runs something every Saturday. Open the live demo

The design, up close

Every section ships exactly like this — swap the words and photos for yours.

No editor to fight. Just ask.

Once it's yours, your AI (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor…) stays connected — these are real requests it handles.

“Update this week's card: Saturday September 12, sweet corn and the first apples, Hollis Bridge Brass at 10, corn roast by the scouts.”
“Add Meadowlark Honey to Prepared food with a New chip and bump the vendor count to 49 everywhere it appears.”
“Change the season to May 9 through October 24 and hours to 9 to 1 in the stamp, the marquee, the nav, and the footer.”
“Swap the hero photo for the one I uploaded of our green and put our real address on Main Street in the find-us section.”
“Retune the palette to a deep green accent instead of tomato and keep the kraft ground.”

Design details

The Friday card

One dated card carries this Saturday: what is in season, who is playing, the special, and who is away. Update it every Friday and the whole site feels alive.

The vendor lattice

Forty-eight names set dense and typographic in six categories, with a red New chip on anyone who joined this season. Add a row; the grid does the rest.

SNAP in four steps

A flipped ink-ground section explains tokens and the match in plain language, with the big number up front. No PDF, no fine print anyone has to squint at.

The season strip

May to October beside a photo, one cell per month, from asparagus to squash. The current month is shaded so the page always knows what week it is.

A rubber-stamp season

Dates and hours stamped over the hero photo at a six-degree tilt, with a tomato marquee running underneath. Change the dates once and both agree.

Applications by email

Fees in a table, a jury explained, five dates, and a mailto with the subject line already filled in. No portal for a board of volunteers to maintain.
