The prompt

Copy this prompt and paste it into Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Codex, or any AI tool connected to Hatchable via MCP.

Build a personal budget tracker for one user — me. No in-app sign-up and no `auth.getUser` calls — Hatchable's platform visibility keeps the site private to me. A transaction has: date, amount, type (income or expense), category (Housing, Food, Transport, Entertainment, Utilities, Health, Savings, Income, Other), and an optional description. The main view shows the current month: a big balance number at top, income vs expenses side-by-side, and a category-breakdown bar chart (spending only, biggest category first). Below that, a running list of transactions — most recent first, grouped by day, amount right-aligned with a color for income vs expense. Quick-add form at the top: amount, category chips, optional description, date defaults to today. Prev/next month navigation. Search and filter the transaction list by category and date range. Clean, calm financial-app design — no bright red alerts, no guilt. Deploy on Hatchable when done.
