Daily Habit Tracker

Productivity Beginner Database

Track daily habits with streaks, completion rates, and a visual calendar heatmap. Build consistency one day at a time.

The prompt

Copy this prompt and paste it into Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Codex, or any AI tool connected to Hatchable via MCP.

Build a personal daily habit tracker for one user — me. No in-app sign-up or login page, and no `auth.getUser` calls — Hatchable's platform visibility gates the site to me (the owner), so the app itself doesn't need to know who's hitting it. Let me add habits I want to track (like "Exercise", "Read", "Meditate") with a name, an emoji, and a color. The main view is Today: one row per habit, each with a big tappable check button. Track a streak — the number of consecutive days ending today or yesterday (yesterday still counts until midnight). Include a Month view: one row per habit, 35 day-cells across, heatmap-style, today outlined. Let me rename or archive habits. Warm, encouraging colors; smooth animations on check. Vanilla JS, no framework. Deploy on Hatchable when done.

How to use this template

  1. Connect Hatchable to your AI tool

Add Hatchable as an MCP server in your AI tool of choice. You'll need your API key from Console → Settings. See our setup guides for Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.

  2. Copy the prompt and paste it

Hit the Copy button above, switch to your AI tool, and paste. The prompt is written to produce a complete, deployable app using Hatchable's platform features.

  3. Your AI builds and deploys it

Your AI writes the code, creates a project on Hatchable, and deploys it. You'll get a live URL you can share immediately — no server setup, no billing.

Customize it

After the initial build, try asking your AI to add any of these:
