Pomodoro Focus Timer

Productivity Beginner Database

A focus timer using the Pomodoro technique with work sessions, breaks, task logging, and productivity stats.

The prompt

Copy this prompt and paste it into Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Codex, or any AI tool connected to Hatchable via MCP.

Build a personal Pomodoro focus timer for one user — me. No in-app sign-up or login, and no `auth.getUser` calls — Hatchable's platform visibility gates the site to me. The main screen is a large circular countdown that alternates 25-min work / 5-min break, with a 15-min long break every 4 work cycles. Start, Pause, and Reset buttons. I can type an optional task label to focus on for the current cycle. When a work session completes, log it with its timestamp + task label + length, and play a gentle notification sound. Stats panel: focus hours this week, sessions today, daily bar chart for the last 14 days. Distraction-free UI — small controls, huge timer, calm colors. Vanilla JS, no framework. Deploy on Hatchable when done.
